Inirekomenda ni Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rey Bulay na tanggalin sa anumang tungkulin na may kinalaman sa media relations at exposure ng komisyon si spokesperson James Jimenez pati na rin si director Frances Arabe.

Nag-ugat ito sa kabiguan ng Impact Hub Manila, pribadong partner ng Comelec para sa mga debate, na bayaran nang buo ang official venue ng mga naunang debate na Sofitel Garden Plaza.

Dahil dito, kinansela ang mga naka-schedule na final presidential at vice presidential debates.

May kaugnayan ang posisyon nina Jimenez at Arabe sa media relations at exposure.

Ang rekomendasyon aniya ay upang tiyakin ang walang kinikilingan na pagsisiyasat sa debate mess.

“To continue the duties of Directors Jimenez and Arabe in the Education and Information Department, it was recommended that temporary replacements be designated,” saad ni Bulay sa isang statement nitong Biyernes.

Para maiwasan naman ang pagkagambala sa mahahalagang operasyon ng halalan, inirekomenda na ipagpatuloy ang iba pang mga tungkulin nina Jimenez at Arabe sa ilalim ng pangangasiwa ng kanilang committee heads.
